President Goodluck Jonathan has defeated Muhammadu Buhari in Nasarawa state.
The state is controlled by the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to results released Monday morning in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital, the Inedpendent National Electoral Commission said Mr. Jonathan polled a total 273,460 to beat Mr. Buhari who scored 236,838.
Jonathan won seven of the 13 local government areas of the state while Mr. Buhari won 6.
