The Ondo State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr Segun Agbaje says a Collation Officer has been arrested by the police over the crisis that erupted in idanre, Idanre Local government during the poll.
It was alleged that the Collation Officer was trying to tamper with the original result sheet that was submitted to him after the voting, a situation that threw the entire community into confusion.
Addressing reporters in his office, Agbaje said the man had been taken to the police headquarters for interrogation over an alleged mutilation of collation forms in idanre.
According to the REC, the allegations would be investigated by the police.
He, however, said the delay in the results would soon be resolved, assuring the people of the state that the collation process would not be manipulated.
