Unknown gunmen have kidnapped four officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Benue State.
Nentawe Goshwe, the state resident electoral commissioner, confirmed to newsmen that the incident happened in Tarka Local Government Area of the state.
It was gathered that the kidnappers reportedly diverted the electoral materials the officials were taking to polling units in the local government area.
