The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has defeated President Muhammadu Buhari of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, at Agricultural Centre in Karu village – polling unit 003, Abuja.
Announcing the result of the Polling Unit, the presiding Officer Ewa Emmanuel, said Atiku’s PDP polled 769 votes to defeat the Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who scored 129 votes, NAN reports.
The PDP also won the election to the Senate with 731 votes, while the APC got 160 votes.
Emmanuel said that in the House of Representatives election in the Polling Unit, PDP got 725 votes, APC 144 votes.
