National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Odigie-Oyegun, failed to deliver his ward to his party in Saturday’s Presidential elections.
The APC lost to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the two units making up Ward 2 of the Staff Training School at GRA Benin; which is the Chairman’s ward.
At Unit one, the PDP scored 95 votes in the presidential election while APC polled 78 votes.
In the Senatorial election, PDP also won by polling 94 votes to APC’s 85 votes.
The PDP polled 95 votes while the APC polled 80 votes in the House of Representatives.
At unit two where the APC boss cast his vote, the PDP polled 88 votes in the Presidential election as against the 65 scored by his party.
For the House of Representatives, PDP polled 79 votes while APC scored 75.
