The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), Mr Joseph Mbu, on Saturday arrested a man with his dog while monitoring the conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly in the Lagos metropolis.

The man, Sunday Oduyemi, who is in his mid 20s, was arrested at Egbeda Area of Lagos.

Mbu ordered the arrest of the man and his dog when he could not give a satisfactory reason for walking around with the dog.

Oduyemi, who said that he was a musician, said he was on his way home with the dog.

Mbu, however, handed him over to the Area Commander of Area M in Idimu, Lagos for further investigation. (NAN)
