Popular Gospel artiste, Don Moen has said that Nigeria is highly gifted and has vast latent potentials that if well groomed could make it a leader in the global stage.
The God is Good singer said this at a musical concert organised by the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) at ThisDay Dome in Abuja.
According to him: “We need to make people believe in themselves. We need to raise the youths to take over generations.
“Nigeria, like I said, has enormous potential, and with an audience like this, they can change the nation. Its is my prayer, that there would be a change in Nigeria, thousands of people are praying for Nigeria that God will raise this nation as a leader on a global stage.”
“It is an honour to be part of COZA. As far as I’m concerned, Nigeria has got so much potential, if you look at the audience it can change the nation and that is my prayer.
We have got thousands of people praying for us tonight, and people praying for Nigeria, that God will raise up this nation as a leader economically, culturally, musically, and educationally. There is more about Nigeria than people realize. So I am going to do my path to sing the praises of Nigeria and the lord. Talk to people about Nigeria, about Abuja and about COZA. I am just knock-out by the talent of the church, and I say to myself what do they need this Don Moen for to sing this soft song…the people are so talented. So we give thanks to the lord and hope that he will change the nation with people like this.”
