Niger Tornadoes emerge NNL Super Four champions

Niger Tornadoes have emerged champions of the Nigeria National League (NNL) 2015 Super Four competition.

The Minna side defeated Plateau United 1-0 on Sunday at the National Stadium in Abuja.

Lukman Muhammed scored the only goal of the game in the 59th minute, as coach Abdullahi Biffo’s team lifted the second tier league title.

In the third-place match played earlier, Ikorodu United lost 4-2 on penalties to their local rivals, MFM, after scores ended 2-2 at the end of regulation time.
