A fresh report has it that the PDP has been displaced in Niger State, as the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in the state, Alh Abubakar Bello, has been officially declared winner of the governorship election in the state. The Returning Officer, Prof. Abdulganiu Ambali Bello, announced that Bello polled 593,702 votes to defeat Alh. Umar Nasko of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who polled 239,772 votes. The APC governorship candidate emerged victorious in 23 of the 25 local government areas announced by INEC.
