Separatist Group, Niger Delta Avengers has claimed responsibility for the attacks on oil pipelines in Bayelsa and Rivers states.
Spokesman of the agitator, Mudoch Agbinibo in a statement said the attacks were carried out between 3am and 5am on Friday.
Agbinibo said,“At about the (hour) of 3am to 5am the Niger Delta Avengers blow up Nembe 1, 2, and 3 trunk-line in Bayelsa/River States.”
“We still using this medium to warn the general public of impostors Facebook accounts. Niger Delta Avenger is not in Social network anymore.”
This is coming at the heels of an earlier confirmation by the Commandant of the Nigeria security and civil defence corps, NSCDC, Desmond Agu who said suspected militants attacked Agip oil pipeline in Rivers State.
