Jointly signed by Mahmud Mohammed Saba (Ag Chairman JCC NANS Niger Axis) and Com. Abdulsemiu Abdul-sekoni, Financial Secretary (NANS Zone A), the statement said the union for now is agitating for “26% budgetary allocation to education sector as recommended by UNESCO;

“NANS would support every progressive minded person in the quest for a prosperous Niger State, better education funding, employment opportunities, sound social amenities, etc and would mobilize in our 100th of thousand through ballots to deny marauders from taking leadership position in all strata.

“However, our doors are open to all and sundry who wish to partner with the organization to build strong democratic institutions as the sacrifices and labour of our Heroes past toward enthroning the present democratic order not be in vain,” NANS said.
