The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), must be prepared to pay Super Eagles handler, Sunday Oliseh, up to N180m if he is sacked.
Oliseh’s future as Nigeria’s coach has become subject of speculation, after the country’s first-round exit at the African Nations Championship in Rwanda.
However, it has emerged that NFF officials are not in a hurry to pull the trigger, as dismissing Oliseh will see the federation hand him a big pay-off.
The former Juventus and Borussia Dortmund man, only signed a three-year deal to take charge of the Eagles in July 2015 and the NFF could have to pay his remaining wages if he is sacked.
“Sunday knows they want to sack him, but he will be waiting for them at FIFA. They have to be ready to pay out his contract sum,” a source told CompleteSports.
