The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has signed a deal for the payment of the incoming Super Eagles coach.
The football house struck the deal on Wednesday with a consortium of private firms, who are mainly into oil and gas.
According to PUNCH, the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), is not directly funding the bill, which is why the NFF were forced to clarify the situation earlier.
“They may have been involved with helping to broker the arrangement but it isn’t directly NNPC funded and that was why the NFF had to clarify the situation. But soon the details will be made public because the deal was signed in Abuja today (Wednesday),” an NFF official said.
