NFF sends 20 more referees for capacity building in UK

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has sent a third batch made up of 20 referees, to the UK for a two-week capacity-enhancing programme.

Two previous batches of 10 and 20 referees, had undertaken the programme, which is aimed at improving the standard of officiating in Nigeria’s domestic football.

NFF president Amaju Pinnick, had earlier stated that the plan was to train 50 referees.

The delegation to the UK will be led by member of the NFF Executive Committee, Alhaji Hussaini Modibbo, the president of the Nigeria Referees Association Alhaji Tade Azeed, secretary of the Referees Committee Sani Zubairu and NFF consultant on refereeing, Daniel Olokor.
