NFF moves to avoid Oliseh, Amodu clash

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has made efforts to prevent a clash of roles between technical director, Shuaibu Amodu and new Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh.

Most observers have suggested that the job descriptions of both men, might see friction in the future, especially since Oliseh has been tasked to keep an eye on a developmental programme.

“I want to assure you that we would not allow friction between Amodu and Oliseh,” NFF head of technical committee Ayansi Agwu said.

“Both men know their job responsibilities and the good thing is that they have worked together before, so I don’t envisage any kind of friction.

“Amodu was part of the interview process that brought Oliseh, so I think if he had an issue, he would have stated it.”

Interestingly, Oliseh is paid N5million a month, while Amodu, who is supposed to be his boss, earns N800,000.
