The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has insisted that it has not agreed a deal with Nike, to kit the country’s national teams.

On Friday, there were a lot of stories making the rounds, suggesting that the NFF has entered into an agreement with the US-based sportswear company, to supply kits and training equipment.

However, Ademola Olajire, who is the federation’s spokesman, claims they are all false.

“That is not true and I’m not aware of that. If the story was real, it would have first been published on the Nigeria Football Federation website,” Olajire told Goal.

Nigeria’s national teams are still without an official kit supplier, after Adidas chose not to renew their contract, which ended last December.
