The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has cleared Dele Alampasu, to play for Portuguese side, Estoril.
Alampasu, who was voted the best goalkeeper at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup, was unable to make the move because of a hold up involving Future Stars and Football College over ownership.
At a meeting in Abuja, the Players’ Status Committee led by Alhaji Babagana Kalli, decided that the goalkeeper signed contracts with the two non-league clubs as a minor.
“Future Stars Academy, Lagos and Football College, Abuja will only be entitled to training compensation/solidarity mechanism in accordance with the FIFA Regulations on Players’ Status and Transfer, 2014,” the committee ruled.
As a result of this ruling, Alampasu will now join Super Eagles midfielder, Anderson Esiti at Estádio António Coimbra da Mota.
