The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has approved the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna, for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between the Super Eagles and Egypt.
NFF’s General Secretary, Sanusi Mohammed, led a delegation to the stadium on Thursday for inspection. Although he admitted there was still work to be done, he certified it fit to host the crucial encounter.
“We have seen every part of the stadium, and it seems ready for the Eagles-Pharaohs clash, but there is still some work to be done to ensure we have a perfect atmosphere come March 26th,” he said.
The first leg will be played on March 26, while the second leg will be take place in Cairo on March 29.
Nigeria are in second place, two points behind the Pharoahs after two games.
