Neymar has threatened to leave Barcelona, if assistant coach Juan Carlos Unzue, takes over from Luis Enrique at the end of the season.
The Brazilian forward clashed with Unzue on the training ground this week according to reports, after the coach tried to motivate the player by citing the example of Ronaldinho, who did not give enough during his latter years at the Camp Nou.
It did not go down well with Neymar and he reportedly shouted: “If he stays, I’ll go.”
Unzue is keen to replace Enrique and it is understood he had the support of most of the players, but the incident has now set alarm bells ringing at the club.
Unzue, a former Sevilla goalkeeper, also had a two-year spell at Barca and represented Spain at Under-21 level.
