Neymar speaks on relationship with Mbappe

Brazilian ace, Neymar has stated that there was no ill-feeling between him and France youngster, Kylian Mbappe.

There were claims that Neymar did not congratulate Mbappe, his teammate at PSG, after the 19-year-old helped France win their second World Cup in history.

But Metro UK quoted the Brazil international as saying that he congratulated Mbappe following his World Cup win and insisted he has a “special affection” for him.

“I congratulated him, of course,” Neymar said.

“We talked during the World Cup, always. We tried to meet in the semi-finals but unfortunately it wasn’t possible. But I was happy for him

“He’s a boy that I have special affection for, he’s a boy that I try to pass on my experience [to], even at my young age, to help him become better and better.”
