Neymar will take over the No. 10 shirt worn by Javier Pastore, when he signs for Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
The 25-year-old wears the same number for Brazil and will be confident of living up to the successes of some of his predecessors.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic wore 10 during his spell in the French capital, while Ronaldinho and Jay-Jay Okocha came before him.
The Brazilian has agreed to a five-year contract with the Ligue 1 club.
According to Sky Sports, PSG will pay him £90million (€100million/$119 million) per season in salary in bonuses.
However, that amount will not enter his account due to France’s 75% tax on its highest earners.
Neymar’s will earn £26.7million (€29.8 million/$35 million) per season after taxes, plus other on-field bonuses and off-field marketing opportunities.
The deal will make him the most expensive transfer in soccer history and the highest-paid player ever.
