Neymar’s release clause has been increased to a staggering £195m (€220m).

The Barcelona forward scored 20 goals last season in all competitions and signed a five-year deal last summer, with his release clause standing at £175m (€202m)

Upon penning the deal, Neymar agreed his release clause would rise by €20m. In another 12 months time, the Brazilian’s release clause will rise to £216m (€250m).

The player has been attracting attention from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain recently.

Last month, reports claimed that United manager Mourinho preferred him to Cristiano Ronaldo.
