Neymar’s father insists he is not interested in Real Madrid

Neymar’s father has said that the Barcelona forward, is not interested in moving to rivals Real Madrid.

An Onda Cero report, had claimed that Neymar Sr. and his son met with Madrid’s representatives at the 2015 Ballon d’Or event this month.

Madrid-based newspaper, Marca, also suggested that the club would sell one of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale or Karim Benzema to fund the transfer.

Asked about the speculation, the Brazilian’s father said: “Real Madrid? We have no interest. What media has said that? Marca? Where is it [the story]?”

“Neymar has three more years on his contract and he wants to complete it.

“The only thing I ask is for a little peace and to stop talking. My son’s intention is to continue [at Barca] and that’s that.”
