Neymar insists he will not follow Sanchez to England

Neymar has said that although former Barcelona team-mate Alexis Sanchez remains a “big friend”, he will not be following the Chilean to England.

The two players spent one season together at the Nou Camp, before Sanchez sealed a transfer to Arsenal last summer.

Both of them came up against each other on Sunday, as Brazil beat Chile 1-0 in a friendly played at the Emirates Stadium.

However, Neymar has insisted he still has a few more seasons to play in Spain, before he can think of leaving.

“Alexis is a big friend and someone who I had the privilege of playing with at Barcelona,” the Brazilian said.

“We used to get along very well on and off the field, so I’m very happy to see him so well at Arsenal.

“As for playing in England myself, I’m very happy playing for Barcelona and I still have a long road to walk here.”

Neymar has already scored 26 club goals in the 2014/2015 campaign.
