Brazil captain, Neymar, says the referee is to blame for his sending off, as his country lost 1-0 to Colombia in the Copa America.

Jesion Murillo scored the only goal of the match in Santiago nine minutes after the break, following a mix up after a free-kick.

Neymar was then sent off after the final whistle, after headbutting the match winner. Referee Enrique Osses then produced two red cards for the Barcelona forward and Carlos Bacca.

“The rules are always used against me,” Neymar told SporTV. “They clean the disappearing foam and do not receive yellow but I do.

“The ball was in my hand but it was not intentional – I was falling – and received yellow.

“Things happen. Put a weak referee to referee and this happens. Nothing made me crazy. I just get p****d with the referees who don’t whistle right.”

Neymar will most definitely miss Brazil’s last group game against Venezuela on Sunday, but his suspension is yet to be decided by a disciplinary committee.
