Arsenal goalkeeper, Petr Cech, has revealed what he expects when his side clash with Newcastle United in Saturday’s Premier League fixture.
According to Cech, the Gunners will find it difficult when they battle Rafa Benitez’s men at the St. James’ Park Stadium this weekend.
Arsenal head to the game following a 3-2 victory against Cardiff City in their last EPL fixture, while Newcastle were defeated 2-1 against Manchester City.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Cech said, “Last season, obviously the difference between being in the Champions League and Europa League was down to our away form.”
“We are aware of that and it was good to see that at Cardiff, in our second away game, we won it. We want to carry on the momentum.
“We are in a position where we dropped points in the first two games, now we need to keep winning to be able to close the gap at the top, if the top teams slip.
“This time we go to Newcastle, we expect a difficult game – I know Rafa Benitez.
“He is a very experienced coach with big tactical ability. “He will set up his team which is always difficult to play against, so we expect a tough game.”
The kick-off time for the match is 3pm.
