Newborn abandoned inside gutter in Lagos [PHOTO]

The lifeless body of a baby, suspected to be one-day-old, was discovered in the Ikotun area of Lagos state on Sunday.

Residents woke to the sorry sight at a BRT bus stop.

The baby that looked bloated and pale was found abandoned in a gutter with stagnant water.

Reports say the baby was handed over to the police in Ikotun Division.
