New Zealand: Fani-Kayode queries international community over silence on Kaduna killings

Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Minister of Aviation, has lamented the gruesome killings in Kaduna State.

Fani-Kayode, citing reactions and condolences by international community to people of New Zealand, wondered why the international community has maintained silence in respect to Killings in Kaduna state.

According to him, the daily killings and genocide in central Nigeria exceed that of New Zealand.

Fani Kayode in his Twitter page wrote: “There were more attacks on Christians in Southern Kaduna today with many innocent people killed and their homes burnt.

“The daily casualties across central Nigeria exceeds that of attacks on Muslim communities across the entire Western world -yet the New Zealand shootings seem to have garnered more attention and concern in one day than the genocide in central Nigeria has been able to do in many years.

“Why is this so? Are we not human beings too?Terrorism, genocide, mass murder and ethnic cleansing are daily occurences in Nigeria yet the world remains silent.”

DAILY POST recalls that no fewer than 10 people were killed on Saturday and about 30 houses set ablaze by unknown gunmen in Nandu Gbok community in Sang Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The latest attack in Southern Kaduna came while the people were still mourning over the devastating attack on the Adara people in Kajuru Local Government.
