A new Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adeyinka Sodipo, has been posted to the Bayelsa State Police Command.
Sodipo replaced Mr. Peter Ogunyanwo, who had been redeployed to Police Force Headquarters, Abuja.
A statement by the command’s spokesman, Asinim Butswat, Sodipo said the new Police boss assumed duty on Tuesday.
Sodipo, until his new assignment, was the Commissioner of Police in Osun State.
