The Anambra State Chairman of the pan Igbo Cultural Organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in the seven Igbo speaking states, Elder Chris Eluemuno, has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of treating the Igbo nation with utter disdain.

Eluemuno, who spoke in Anambra Broadcasting Service Programme (ABS) television programme, ‘‘Face The Press’’, said that all the actions and utterances of President Buhari indicated that he did not like the Igbo people.

The Buhari’s actions, he said, contradicted his earlier stand that he belonged to everybody and belonged to nobody.

Eluemuno further backed his claim by saying that the situation where the President appointed five Service Chiefs in the country without an Igbo representation was a clear display of his hatred for the Igbo nation.

He faulted Buhari’s statement that he would first favour those who gave him more votes, stressing, “there is no way the President should expect all Nigerians to vote for him in the last presidential election.

“This statement contradicted Buhari’s earlier stand that he belonged to everybody and belonged to nobody”.

Eluemuno said that by Buhari’s behaviour to Ndigbo, they were justified in their decision not to vote for him in the last Presidential election.

On the president’s threat to probe only Jonathan’s administration, the Ohanaeze chief said that it would amount to witch-hunt if he limits his probe to ex-president Jonathan administration.

The elder statesman further flayed the President for travelling to the U.S with APC governors and leaving governors of other political parties.
