National Conference adjourns until Wednesday to allow delegates study reports

The leadership of the national conference has adjourned the sitting of the conference till Wednesday. The adjournment is to enable delegates study the reports of the conference which they received on Monday.

The documents, which came in four volumes, are made up of the full report, draft bills, the resolutions of the conference and the appendixes.

While announcing to the delegates, the decision of the Confab management to adjourn, the Secretary of the conference, Dr. Valerie Azinge, noted that she was speaking on behalf of the leadership of the conference.

Although both the Chairman of the conference, Justice Idris Kutigi and his Deputy, Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi were absent during the short sitting, Azinge refused to disclose their whereabouts when asked by delegates.

She equally refused the request by the delegates that the conference be adjourned till Monday in order for them to study the documents that were handed to them.
