The Peoples Democratic Party has settled for Senator Bukola Saraki for the position of Senate President.
Similarly, the party has also adopted Hon. Yakubu Dogara for the position of the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
PDP in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, in Abuja on Tuesday morning at 1:50am, asked all senators and reps members on its platform to vote the duo.
DAILY POST reports that problem ensued in the ruling party after its members nominated Senator Ahmed Lawan for the office of the Senate President and Femi Gbajabiamila as Speaker.
However, the duo of Saraki and Dogara outrightly rejected the decision.
