Hon. Chris Adabah Abah, one of the aspirants vying for the Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency seat on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has denied withdrawing from the race.

Mad Lion, as he is fondly called, said he was till very much in the race to reclaim his mandate contrary to the speculations that he had backed out.

The politician was reacting to media reports that he had stepped down for his close rival, Anthony Hassan Saleh.

Abah in a statement issued on Friday said the story was cooked by his opponents with the aim of distracting him.

He said, “the general public, delegates and the People’s Democratic Party should disregard this wicked and unscrupulous news which is only the hand works of my opponent who is power drunk, hence wants to thwart the minds of my teaming supporters and the delegates.”

He called on all the delegates to vote for him, test his capability and see the outcome.
