Kylian Mbappe is set to be dropped by manager, Thomas Tuchel, after the Paris Saint-Germain forward criticised the team for having, “no personality”.
Mbappe laid into his team-mates, after PSG were thrashed 5-1 at Lille on Sunday.
Despite the French champions being on course for their eighth Ligue 1 title, Mbappe said: “We’re going to be champions but we cannot lose like this. It’s not normal.
“We lack personality, it’s one of our flaws, we have to correct this. We played like debutants.”
Tuchel felt the comments were unnecessary and plans to leave Mbappe out of the league clash away at Nantes on Wednesday night, L’Equipe reports.
PSG would seal the title should they win.
