NAAPE shuts down Bristow Helicopters, over 50 aircraft grounded

The leadership of the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers, NAAPE, has shutdown Bristow Group, owners of Bristow Helicopters.

The group and the company have been at loggerheads over pay disparity that sees foreign nationals in the company earn higher that Nigerian pilots and engineers.

Speaking with DAILY POST on Wednesday morning, President of the association, Comrade Isaac Balami told our reporter that the group had paralyzed activities of the company with over 50 aircrafts grounded.

“As we speak, over 50 aircrafts belonging to the company has been grounded. The company has been shutdown,” he said on phone.
