N17 million scam: EFCC to arraign Kaduna Deputy Speaker today

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has said that it will arraign the Deputy Speaker of Kaduna State House of Assembly, Mato Dogara, before a Federal High Court in Kaduna on Monday.
Dogara, a former Chairman of Lere Local Government, who also served as commissioner in the state, is being accused of mismanaging N17 million.
A statement by EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, on Sunday in Lagos, added that the lawmaker would be arraigned alongside two others, Kabiru Malali and Ahmed Yahaya, former Chairman and Treasurer of Lere Local Government of the State respectively.
The suspects, EFCC said, would be prosecuted on a six-count charge, including contract over-invoicing and criminal diversion of funds.
