Award winning singer, Harrysong, has revealed how his step-mother wanted him dead by all means, on his way to stardom.

Full of gratitude to God for making him who has become, the Five Star music star, recalled that few years ago, he was been paid N4,000 every week to perform at the popular O’jez restaurant, Lagos.

During his performance at the just concluded Headies Award event, the ‘Reggae Blues’ crooner, who is now an Orphan, said, “Some years ago, my step-mother told me I’ll sleep and never wake.”

According to him, his ‘step-mother never wanted him alive as she was bent on doing everything possible to make him a failure but God delivered him from her shackles.’

“She told me I’ll be a failure and never make it in life. She told me I’ll someday lose my voice and never be able to sing again.

“To God be the glory, she called me three years ago, apologies and took back her words because she knows I’m a blessed child.

“It has been God all the way,” Harrysong quipped.
