My son will shine under Guardiola – Iheanacho’s father

James Iheanacho, the father of Manchester City’s Kelechi, has insisted that his son will get playing time under Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola has already penned a three-year deal, to take over from Manuel Pellegrini next season and there has been talk of a summer clear out at the Etihad.
Iheanacho has enjoyed a fine debut campaign for City this term, scoring 14 times. His father is confident that Guardiola will like his boy.
“Kelechi will definitely play under Guardiola and I am sure of that,” James Iheanacho told AfricanFootball.com
“He has done well whenever he has been given opportunities this season and I am sure the new coach will want to work with him.”
