Argentine captain, Lionel Messi, has revealed that his son, Thiago has very little interest in football.
The five-time world footballer of the year has won all there is to win at club level on numerous occasions, but may not be able to convince his 3-year-old son to love the round leather game.
However, Messi said he doesn’t seem bothered by Thiago’s choices.
Messi, who is currently on international duties with his country, spoke in an interview at the weekend.
He said, “I don’t buy him many balls or force him to play with them because he doesn’t like them that much.”
Barcelona has a project for Messi’s children to follow their father’s footstep, raising the hope that Thiago could still be a future star.
He added, “Let’s see if he gets hooked that way, it would be a good start.”
