Sweden and Paris Saint Germain, PSG, striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Thursday confirmed that he will be joining Manchester United.
He made the confirmation via his Instagram @iamzlatanibrahimovic.
He wrote, “Time to let the world know. My next destination is @manchesterunited.”
Ibrahimovic retired from international football after Sweden’s Euro 2016 exit.
The 34-year-old left PSG on a free transfer at the end of the season after four trophy-laden and prolific seasons with the French club.
He scored 156 goals in 180 games, including 38 in 31 league games in 2015-16, and won four league trophies, two French Cups, three league cups and three Trophee des Champions.
Ibrahimovic reunites with Jose Mourinho in Manchester and is the club’s second signing of the summer window after Villarreal defender Eric Bailly.
