Hours after her RMG management company released an official statement on Muna’s alleged disrespect of Mode 9 at the Nokia Don’t Break The Beat competition, Muna has finally apologised to Mode 9 for her behaviour.

The ex-beauty queen came on twitter to publicly tender her apology to rap guru, Mode 9 yesterday.

According to her, “Modey, I know we had a chat, & still face2face when I get back, but 2 put a stop to all this madness. I’m sorry boo.

“I want us to be cool like before and as we were just before the Nokia show. Pls accept my apology,” the up and coming rapper tweeted.

Before her public apology, many fans had threatened to rip Muna’s ass’ off for disrespecting the pillar of modern Nigeria rap industry.

Muna was the show’s presenter while Mode 9 was one of the judges at the same show.

Both clashed at the choice of the show’s winner which Muna disagreed with the choice of Mode 9 as the judge. Her ‘pass me the mic’ statement to Mode 9 was seen as very disrespectful to Mode 9 by many Nigerian rap followers.

As at press time, Mode 9 has not responded to Muna’s apology.
