Mourinho wants Barcelona’s Roberto at Old Trafford

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has told the club’s chiefs to sign Barcelona star, Sergi Roberto.

Mourinho wants the Red Devils executives to bring Roberto to Old Trafford during January transfer window.

According to Spanish transfer outlet, Don Balon, Mourinho is a huge admirer of Roberto.

Roberto has been used in midfield and at right-back, with Barca while struggling to replace Dani Alves.

The 25-year-old is desperate to play in midfield and doesn’t like playing as a right-back under Valverde.

The Spain international is aware of United’s interest and the Camp Nou utility man could use it to his advantage.

Mourinho’s men are back in action on Saturday afternoon when United travel to Anfield to face Liverpool.
