Chelsea star, Eden Hazard has explained why he preferred the Blues manager, Maurizio Sarri, over former Blues and Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho’s style of football.
According to Hazard, Sarri’s style of football is more like his philosophy compared to Mourinho’s style.
Asked to compare his previous manager, Mourinho to Sarri, Hazard told Chelsea’s official website: “From when I started with Claude Puel at Lille, to now with Maurizio Sarri. They all see football in different ways which is why I’m the player I am.
“They have all given me important advice. Jose Mourinho was special, but the way Sarri and [Rudi] Garcia like to play is more like my philosophy of football, but they’ve all given me a lot.”
Hazard has scored 15 goals and assisted 10 times so far this season under Sarri.
The 28-year-old failed to score in Chelsea’s 6-0 defeat to Manchester City last weekend in the Premier League encounter.
The Belgium international will hope to lead Chelsea to victory when they tackle Malmo in tonight’s Europa League round of 32 first leg tie.
