Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, will resume his media duties on Friday, ahead of the Blues’ visit to Aston Villa on Saturday.

Mourinho snubbed the press before last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City and did not show up for any briefing after the match.

The Portuguese schemer was protesting his £25,000 by the FA for comments about referees having a ‘campaign’ against his team and Diego Costa’s three-game ban.

The Premier League already confirmed they will be contacting Chelsea for explanation on Mourinho’s actions.

Mourinho’s assistant Steve Holland – who previously deputised for him – was not sent out to fulfill media duties too.
