Mourinho snubs media after draw against Manchester City

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, once again failed to show up for his press conference, after his side were held to a 1-1 draw by Manchester City on Saturday.

The Portuguese called off his pre-match media briefing on Friday, after the FA slapped a £25,000 on him for claiming the referees had a ‘campaign’ against his team.

Mourinho is also understood to be furious with the the three-match ban that striker Diego Costa received, for stamping on Emre Can in their Capital One Cup semi-final tie on Tuesday.

The Premier League will contact Chelsea and demand an explanation for Mourinho’s no-show and the manager may find himself in more trouble.
