Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho is not under immediate threat of losing his job.

The Blues were beaten 3-1 by Liverpool on Saturday afternoon – their sixth defeat in 11 Premier League matches.

Despite the defeat, there are no talks within the club’s hierarchy regarding Mourinho’s future, according to Sky Sports News.

The Portuguese is said to be “planning as usual” for the Champions League tie against Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday.

After the match, Mourinho told press men that he was reassured by Chelsea fans singing his name despite the loss.

“I take comfort [from that] but what feeds me is not just the support of the fans. What feeds me is the recognition of our work, and the recognition is by getting results,” he admitted.

“I have some players who are really sad in the dressing room. I am full of respect for them. We see it, match after match, that as professionals they are not getting the respect that they deserve. We are not going to have a great Saturday dinner.” .
