Mourinho reacts to Pogba’s agent offering player to Man City

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has said that Paul Pogba’s price has gone up, after his two-goal showing against Manchester City in their 3-2 win on Saturday.

Mourinho was reacting to reports that Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, had offered the player to their rivals in the January transfer window.

Speaking after the game at The Etihad Stadium, he said: “I wasn’t asking Paul to improve because I was happy with what he was doing in the first half, then he scored two great goals.

“If his agent was offering him to some clubs, the price has now gone up a lot.”

City manager, Pep Guardiola, revealed before the game that they had the chance to sign Pogba two months ago.

“I said no. We don’t have the money to buy Pogba because he is so expensive,” he said.
