Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho, has reportedly called Barcelona forward Neymar, to convince him to swap Camp Nou for Old Trafford in the summer.
United are in the market for another big-money player and Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann has been their No.1 target.
But there appears to be uncertainty over a potential deal, with Griezmann only eager to move if the Red Devils qualify for the Champions League.
Spanish outlet, Sport, reports that Mourinho has personally been in touch with Neymar, as he seeks to bolster his squad ahead of his second season.
The 25-year-old has scored 50 goals in 75 games for Brazil and Mourinho is keen to land a player he has admired for a long time.
