Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, has insisted that he is not bothered by his team’s low possession stat, during their 1-0 victory over Manchester United on Saturday.
The Portuguese schemer made it clear that he was only interested in the outcome of the match.
Eden Hazard scored the only goal of the game, shortly before the break, as Chelsea edged closer to the Premier League title.
It came completely against the run of play, as United dominated their hosts, but failed to convert the chances they created.
“They could have 99 (per cent). It was no problem. When you decide to play the game strategically, you don’t care about stats, you just care about the points,” Mourinho stated.
“We were very well prepared for this game. We were able to make some of their important players disappear.”
Chelsea will be crowned champions, if they win their next two games against Arsenal and Leicester City.
