Mourinho names one club that will qualify for Champions League final

Former Manchester United and Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, has tipped Tottenham Hotspur to go all the way to the Champions League final.

Spurs have qualified for the last eight of the competition, following a 4-0 aggregate win over Borussia Dortmund.

Mourinho, speaking with RT, stated that with most of the big teams falling away in the knockout rounds, Mauricio Pochettino’s men have emerged as dark horses.

He said: “In this moment the eight teams that are going to be qualified – in this moment the four that have already qualified – they have all of them 12.5% chance of winning the Champions League. Certainly you are in the group of the 25% chance of winning.

“When you look to PSG, Real Madrid, two big contenders to win it, they are already away. Liverpool, Bayern Munich – one of them will also be out.

“I think every team including obviously Tottenham – and don’t forget that Porto and Ajax are amongst the eight – big, big chances for a big surprise this season for one team to win it, or at least one team to be in the final that nobody expects – so why not Tottenham?”
